help them figure out how and why it's happened. jay gray, wbal-tv 11 news. >> here in baltimore city, police are investigating a shooting in northwest baltimore. police say a man was shot multiple times just after 3:00 saturday morning in the 3500 block of west belvedere avenue he was hit in the face and body and taken to an area hospital where at last check he was in critical but stable condition. detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the northwest police precinct. >> a four wheeler tipped over in baltimore county sending eight people to the hospital. the accident happened in the 1700 block of monkton farm drive a little after 10:00 last night. baltimore county police are investigating the incident. in carroll county, police are investigating a multivehicle car crash in mount airy. the accident happened at the intersection of route 27 and south main street. that happened a little before 7:00 last night. we're told there were multiple injuries and there's no word this morning on what caused that crash. meantime, howard county police have identified the m

olympics. >> here this morning, a saturday shooting in baltimore city is now listed as a homicide. police responded it a call for shots fired in the 1400 block of poplar grove street around 2:30 saturday morning. that's where they found 30-year-old jermaine blue suffering from a gunshot wound. he was taken to an area hospital where he later died. city officers are also investigating a suspicious death in the downtown area. just after 5:00 a.m. saturday, police got word of a possible shooting in the 300 block of south charles street. once on the scene, officers found a man suffering trauma to his upper body and the unidentified victim later died at an area hospital and so far, detectives haven't found any evidence that a shooting occurred. they are now waiting for results of an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. anyone with information on either case is asked to contact the city police department. >> a police officer is recovering this morning after being hit by a driver under the influence. authorities in howard county say yolanda merchanson of columbia was driving und
